Youth Committee
This month, Youth Committee meeting is on June 1st at 4:00 p.m.
Montreat 2008
Second $50 deposit is due.
All those youth attending Montreat this year must do the following:
You must attend at least 50% of the youth events over the next 6 months (i.e. 2 events a month)
It is mandatory that you attend the following three events
Spaghetti Dinner, Bar-B-Q, Montreat Services
If you are not able to meet these requirements, then your Montreat costs will increase by $250.

Youth Exchange July 9 - 23, 2008
Join senior high youths from Jamaica and go on a service/mission trip. You will make friends from Jamaica and you will get the opportunity to serve others. The service projects will be in Jamaica and north Florida. A scholarship is available for the trip. Contact Jim Bullock at 694-4121 or Paul Vowinkel at 572-9081 if you are interested.

with a lemonade fountain.

Jean and John Stewart open their home to the youth group for grilled hamburgers and homemade baked beans.

Sally and Steve Layendecker host the youth group with four different desserts.
Youth Class Instructors
Middle School – Grades 6-8, taught by Harvey and Kathy Bohner, meets in the Youth House at 9:45 a.m. This class just completed its mission project by delivering 30 personal hygiene kits along with a large quantity of other items to the Domestic Violence Center. All middle school youth are welcome.

Senior High – Grades 9-12, taught by Sally and Steve Layendecker meet in the Youth House at 9:45 a.m. This class continues to use the Reel to Real curriculum comparing movie themes to contemporary living and moral values. All senior high youth are encouraged to join the class.
