February was an exciting and full month! Thanks to all who participated and supported our Super Bowl subs fundraiser. It was a great success and we are on way to funding our High School summer trip to Montreat. During the month of March we will be spending time preparing for the Easter sunrise service - and of course sharing in delicious meals and fun games. Be prepared for beach ball dodgeball, human fooseball and a few new ones!
Youth House Beautification
The youth are in the midst of beautifying the youth house. As we've begun to sort through things that have been left in various nooks and crannies, our greatest find thus far was a frisbee given as a gift in 1978. That's one legendary frisbee! As we begin to spruce the place up, consider passing along some of your household items to the youth house. We are in need of a few nice couches, lamps, colorful solid colored sheets, rugs or carpeting, and painting supplies. If you have a donation, please see Amanda Osenga.
We are making plans for Montreat. Next deposit of $50 is due by January 3rd. We will be having a parent and youth meeting to discuss plans in January.
Fundraiser Beef ‘O’ Brady’s
An ongoing PYC fundraiser involves Beef ‘O’ Brady's. Please keep your itemized receipt if you go to Beef ‘O’ Brady's on SR 40 in the Publix shopping plaza. We will be able to turn the receipts back into Beef's and they will give us 20% back. This will be an ongoing fundraiser so please be sure to keep your receipts and turn them into the church office or give them to Paul. Thanks for all your continued support of the youth.
