Craft Bazaar - October 9th
Our Craft Bazaar will take place from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9th. Please start finishing up the craft projects you are working on for the Craft Bazaar. Friday morning, October 8th will be the time to bring all of the home made items you have been working on into the Fellowship Hall for the Craft Sale. This is not just an invitation for women…we would also love to receive some of the items that our men make.
Many volunteers are needed for preparation the week of the Bazaar and on the day of the Bazaar. Please contact Lucille Rowoldt at 438-2219 if you can help. Mark October 9th on your calendar so you do not miss the Craft Bazaar. There are always so many wonderful crafts and baked goodies to purchase. Help Needed At Ward Highlands !!
Ward Highlands Elementary is Ft. King’s adopted school. Several members of our congregation volunteered their time to assist teachers or help in the library or some other area of the school last year. The staff at Ward-Highlands was so appreciative of their help .
Please consider volunteering at Ward-Highlands. Any amount of time or days of the week would be very appreciated. We hope to begin our volunteer work in late September or early October once the necessary forms are completed. What a great opportunity to serve God by assisting those who have the great responsibility of educating God’s most precious gift to us…our children. Please fill out theform below if you can help and return it to the church office or place it in the offering plate. Please contact Harvey Bohner (622-1333)if you have any questions or concerns about this project.

Kitchen Kindness
It is the responsibility of all committees or individuals when using the kitchen to leave it clean and orderly. Towels and tablecloths should be taken home, laundered and returned. Pots, pans, bowls, glassware, etc., should not be taken from the kitchen except to be used elsewhere in the church. The towel drawer is almost empty at the present and it should contain over two dozen towels which were purchased by the church. Please try to return items promptly so they will be available to the next committee that may need to use them. Thank you.
