Our First FORT KING PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 2010 Community Concert Series!music notes

Please invite your friends and family to enjoy these “free” Concerts scheduled at Fort King. These concerts will be open to the general public and are free of charge. The first concert will be held Thursday, February 4 at 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm, and features the Watoto Children's Choir from Uganda, Africa. The Children's Choir presents Watoto's vision and mission through their music and dance, which is an energetic fusion of contemporary gospel with traditional African rhythm. The goal of each “Concert of Hope” is to raise awareness of the plight of 2 million children in Uganda, left parentless as a result of war and disease. Their “Concerts of Hope” are intended to uplift our congregation and community as well as raise funds through love offerings so they can provide family life, shelter, food, clothing.  A love offering will be collected at each concert to help support the musicians as well our concert series. Seating could be an issue. So, get there early and invite your friends and neighbors to enjoy these wonderful concerts at Fort King. For more information on future concerts see: Evangelism!
